Blue Bell Hill (7.73 miles 12.37 km )

Kent Equestrian Rides – Blue Bell Hill and Nashenden – OS Map Explorer 148

Two loops: 4.75 miles (7.6km) [with optional extra 2.5km] and 2 miles (3.2km)

Safety: This route is almost entirely traffic free. Bright or high visibility clothes and a mobile phone are recommended.

Start Point: TQ734626 Common Road, Blue Bell Hill. Several places to park one or two vehicles on the verge. Do not park until you are beyond the houses.

Parking may be available if you require food and drink but phone first and also check if there is clay pigeon shoot near pub on that day.

Ride is on byways and bridleways, some with spectacular views, apart from a short section on Common Road, a low trafficked lane. Some steep slopes on the optional Kent Wildlife Permissive Path and on the shorter loop south of Common Road. There are horse stiles to step over.
